What Makes Our Puppy Class Different?

First, puppy class should be fun for both you and your puppy. Given what's at stake during this critical development period, we believe only the most experienced and educated professionals should lead a puppy class. If you are looking for experts who will be there for you every step of the way, sign up today! Our puppy classes are taught by Certified Professional Dog Behavior Consultant and Trainer Jennifer Pennington, CDBC, CPDT. Silver Certified in Stress-Free Handling, Fear-Free Certified.

Our training spaces are only accessible to us and our students during class, not in a busy store, daycare, or public space. They are

sanitized with Rescue Cleaner before every class (the same stuff your veterinarian uses!)

For healthy puppies aged 9-16 weeks at start date. Older puppies sign up for Foundations.

Rolling admission, sign up for the first available spot. Then, attend for 6 consecutive weeks.

Please be sure you will be able to attend all sessions as we are often unable to accommodate make-up sessions or rescheduling.

My husband and I took both the Puppy and Foundations 1 class with Jennifer. Now with a 8 month old dog we can reflect on how instrumental what we learned here was for how to motivate and train our dog. In Jennifer's classes you will learn games that have have underlying techniques on how to communicate and practice good behavior with your dog. Before Jennifer's class we had taken another puppy class that had taught the basics (sit, stay, come). The difference with Lead with Fun is that Jennifer teaches you how dogs learn and interact with their environment so that you can translate that not only into good behavior but a closer bond with your four legged family member.
